  • 15W Non-isolated DC-DC Converter with Fast Transient Response

    Posted by: NetPower   Release date:2020-10-12

Richardson,Texas, June 2, 2020 - NetPower announces the release of 18-36V to 0.9-1.1V NPS3 non-isolated converter. The 15W NPS3 converter is designed with fast transient response and low ripple voltage characteristics, suitable for low output voltage point-of-load applications in computing and similar digital consumer applications.

NPS3 non-isolated converter has built in features of power good signal, monotonic start-up and output voltage trim. The converter has very good transient response performance; the output ripple voltage of the converter is controlled within 20mV when the load steps from 50% to full load or from full load down to 50% condition. Protection against over current and over temperature is also standard.

The NPS3009x015S25 converter is now available; please contact sales@netpowercorp.com for more information and support.

  • NetPower Releases 1500W Non-isolated Buck/Boost DC-DC Converter

    Posted by: NetPower   Release date:2020-10-14

Richardson, Texas, July 10, 2020 - NetPower announces the release of 9-60V to 0-60V 1500W NYWQ5 non-isolated buck/boost converter. The converter is packaged with the industry standard 1/4 brick pinout and adopts full digital control and supports PMBus.

NYWQ5 has optional active current share feature to allow parallel operation of multiple converters. The output current limit is adjustable for battery charging applications. The output voltage is set to 0V at the factory and it can be programmed to any voltage between 0V and 60V by PMBus programming or external resistor/voltage programming.

NYWQ5 buck/boost converter is provided with encapsulated quarter brick package for full environment protection, and is designed with full protection features against excessive voltage, current, and temperature; with the ultra-high conversion efficiency of 96%, the NYWQ5 converter is ideally suited for use in communications, industrial, test and measurement, high-reliability and various levels of battery charging applications.

  • NetPower Expands Its EV On-board DC-DC Converters

    Posted by: NetPower   Release date:2020-10-14

Richardson, Texas, August 11, 2020 - NetPower has announced the release of two additional EV on-board DC-DC converters. CD1800-28BN converts 400-800V to 28V/30A/800W and CD11K5-14LL converts 65-120V to 14V/107A/1.5kW.  Both are designed for battery charging applications.

The 800W CD1800-28BN is a conduction-cooled converter complementing its 3000W liquid cooled sibling CD13K0-28BN; and the 1500W CD11K5-14LL is a liquid-cooled converter for applications that the 3000W CD13K0-14LL is overkill. Key features include CAN interface, bootloader via CAN bus, capable of parallel operation, IP67 enclosure, and a full set of protections. Key competitive advantages are small package sizes, light weight, and high reliability designs.

NetPower EV on-board DC-DC converters work with different input voltage ranges in a span from 65V to over 800V, and their output power ratings range from 800W to over 4kW. Higher power applications can be supported with parallel operation of multiple converters.
