Year-end Remarks 2019
Dear Coowa Members,
Today, 12/31/2019, marks the end of Coowa’s first year - the Year of Creation. Due to deficiencies in its marketplace functions, Coowa did not do full-blown marketing campaigns in this first year. The Coowa community features (Resources and Forum) have been available for the large part of the first year. It’s our fundamental belief that a thriving Coowa community distinguishes Coowa from traditional marketplaces. Coowa Team thanks those who made content contributions to the community in 2019. It’s the efforts of them that kept Coowa moving.
As outlined in Coowa Whitepaper, Coowa points earned in each year will be converted to Coowa tokens. The conversion ratio for the first year (2019) is 10. For a member who earned 10,000 points in 2019, this member receives 100,000 Coowa tokens. At this early stage, Coowa has no established value and so are its tokens. However, the tokens are the measure of the contributions ones made, and are the base for possible future rewards.
Once Coowa marketplace functions are ready which should be soon, Coowa will begin its global marketing campaigns to boost its
awareness to professionals as well as manufacturers.

I am very happy to see my points be changed to the tokens. It was a symbol of my personal small contributions to Coowa. Wish all of us can use our ways to participate in and make Coowa much better!
