  Some people dies for money! This is how bad money is or people are. It's hard to think such insane idea of charging EV owners $1000 a year just because they are not buying gas. Why wouldn't they just charge everyone not owning a combustion engine car the same? If the state wants money for public interests, why not just raise sales tax or property tax, which would be more reasonable than punishing the EV owners.
