Huawei's Richard Yu and Hyundai's Kyounglim Yun are confirmed as the first two technology leaders to address the audience at the consumer technology event to be held in Shanghai, China on June 11-13.
Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group and Director of Huawei Technologies, and Kyounglim Yun, Executive Vice-President and Head of Hyundai's Open Innovation Strategy Division are scheduled to deliver keynote addresses at the upcoming CES Asia 2019 next month. The event is going to be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) in Shanghai, China.
Huawei's Richard Yu is going to unveil Huawei's Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and strategy for the future on Tuesday, June 11 at 9:30 AM. An early morning start for what promises to be an exciting morning in anticipation of the explosion of technology we are all expecting by 2020 and beyond.
Huawei's AI strategy
In October last year, Huawei released its AI strategy and all-scenarios AI portfolio at the third annual Huawei Connect, a global event for the ICT industry. Huawei's AI portfolio includes its new Ascend series of AI chips: The world's first AI IP and chip series designed for a full range of scenarios.
Huawei's goal is to provide pervasive intelligence to help drive industry development to build a fully connected intelligent world. According to Huawei, by 2025, there are going to be 40 billion personal smart devices. The company predicts that 90 percent of device users will have a smart digital assistant.
Hyundai Motor Company's vision for the future of mobility
Hyundai's Kyounglim Yun is going to speak about Hyundai Motor Company's vision for the future of mobility. He serves as Executive Vice-President and Head of Hyundai Motor Group's Open Innovation Strategy Division.
He also oversees the Hyundai Motor Company’s global strategy for scouting and discovering for new businesses, including Hyundai’s work with innovative startups and its vision for Clean Mobility, Connected Mobility, and Freedom in Mobility. Kyounglim Yun's keynote is scheduled for Tuesday, June 11 at 1:30 PM

Hyundai's future mobility roadmap highlights the company's strategy to materialize freedom in mobility for customers. The company's electric vehicles (EVs) strategy and its strategy to gain global leadership in connected mobility aim to provide a curated future lifestyle where all aspects of life are connected to mobility for a true Car-to-Life experience.
